The successful Take-Back-My-Meds MKE initiative is working to install more drop boxes across Milwaukee and Racine counties and educate the community about why it’s important to properly dispose of unused medications. Each box collects between 100-175 pounds of medication every single year — that’s up to 100,000 pills per box staying out of our landfills and out of Lake Michigan every year!
