Our funding will support a host of land management activities at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve (FBMP) in northern Ozaukee County. FBMP was formerly a golf course that was closed and slated for residential development. OWLT organized local residents and raised the funding to purchase the 116 acre property in 2010. OWLT will restore 12 acres of wetlands, remove invasive species on 116 acres,
plant 14,000 trees and remove one acre of parking lots and buildings.
