Reflo will work with Renew Environmental Public Health Advocates (REPHA) to engage the surrounding community in the schoolyard redesign process at Westside Academy and to encourage them to install rain gardens and rain barriers on their own properties. This project aims to develop a model for effectively welcoming residents, local business owners, and other neighbors into the green schoolyard development process so that they are involved and feel welcome using the green schoolyards when school is not in session.
