This grant from the Fund supports Groundwork Milwaukee Green Team’s installation of rainwater harvesting structures and other green infrastructure at community gardens across the City of Milwaukee. MMSD is matching the grant. Along with capturing stormwater and providing access to water for gardeners, this project has an important job training component for members of Groundwork’s Green Team, a year-round program that offers part-time paid positions for Milwaukee high school students.
