MMSD and a number of community organizations will distribute free rain barrels to any residential property owner in Milwaukee’s combined sewer service area who attends a rain barrel workshop. This program is being implemented in conjunction with the City of Milwaukee’s Downspout Disconnection Program and in response to high demand for rain barrels. It represents an opportunity to reach many people at once and to encourage individual stewardship of our water resources.
