The arrival of Foxconn in Racine County has resulted in great opportunities and challenges for the City of Racine. Several parties, including Foxconn, are considering options for redeveloping Racine’s lakefront. FFLM’s grant to the Racine County Economic Development Corporation will allow the City to hire a planner with expertise in waterfronts to ensure that redevelopment is based on a comprehensive plan that prioritizes public access and water quality.
