Prichard Park in Racine County is undergoing a major renovation, including a $5,000,000 aquatic center largely supported by SC Johnson. With the Fund’s investment, Root-Pike WIN will leverage that construction to enhance natural areas in the park that have long been neglected. Partners include Racine County, the Root-Pike WIN, and numerous supporters. The project will restore two acres of wetland and restore habitat on an additional 7.5 acres, controlling storm water runoff, reducing nutrient pollution, and creating educational opportunities at this popular county park.
