Kenosha County Planning and Development is continuing work to improve water quality on the 4.5-mile South Branch of the Pike River. In this phase, a site assessment and drain tile survey will complete the comprehensive analysis of the project site that is the foundation of the restoration plan. The restoration aims to improve fish and wildlife habitat, decrease flooding, and create a public trail to bring visitors to the river and restored prairie.
