This partnership will convert a run-down and impervious play lot into a nature-inspired play area for children with developmental and physical disabilities from low-income families. The new playground will include a rain garden, native plantings, permeable pavers, and storm water trees to maximize storm water capture on site. At the same time, the playground will provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children who have little to no access to green space at home.
