The Milwaukee River Watershed Regional Conservation Partnership is a collaboration of government agencies, utilities, farmers, land trusts, and private partners working to promote sustainable agriculture in the region. A new soil conservationist will expand their efforts, providing more farmers with the outreach and technical assistance needed to adopt and enroll in conservation programs. This additional capacity will allow the team to complete both a soil health study and an economic study to quantify the outcomes of their efforts and establish the business case for program adoption.
