The Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership fosters stewardship and champions the environment through research, educational workshops, collaborative community projects, and regional natural resource enhancement projects. This project builds on conservation efforts at LNRP’s existing project sites and allows the team to further engage watershed partners in developing 9-Key Element Watershed Plans across the Lakeshore. Additionally, LNRP and regional partners are launching the Coastal Resiliency Community Impact Project to assist Lake Michigan coastal communities in becoming better prepared to address the negative impacts of climate change, including high lake levels and heavy rainfall events.
