With a grant from the Fund, GLCCC will hire 50 disadvantaged young adults from southeast Wisconsin to restore habitat at three project areas.  Their crews clear woody debris blockages in streams, remove invasive species and install green infrastructure.  Under the current proposal, GLCCC will partner with Ozaukee County Planning and Parks, US Bureau of Land Management in Milwaukee and Root-Pike WIN in Kenosha/Racine County on a number of restoration projects.
