The majority of these funds ($100,000) will be invested in the installation of green infrastructure at four Milwaukee Public Schools as part of a larger effort to remove asphalt and “green up” these almost entirely impervious school yards. This project will also support a sustainability professional working within MPS to strategically promote green infrastructure and water stewardship at school facilities.
