With the EPA investing millions of dollars over the next five years to clean up and restore the Milwaukee Estuary Area of Concern (AOC), the Milwaukee County Parks Department will be responsible for managing several large-scale and complex restoration projects throughout the Milwaukee River Basin and in the near shore area of Lake Michigan. This funding will promote the effectiveness of these efforts by supporting a full-time AOC Program Supervisor within the Parks Department over the next four years.
