Milwaukee is in the midst of its efforts to clean-up the Milwaukee Estuary Area of Concern (AOC), bringing together federal, state, local, and community-based partners for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to address the legacy pollution that has impaired Milwaukee’s waterways for decades. The Community Advisory Committee will build support for the many beneficial projects that will be a part of this clean-up and will help ensure that the projects address community needs and leverage community assets. The work of the CAC will pave the way for approval and implementation through transparent engagement.
