Kletzsch Dam Fish Passage Project

Dams act as a barrier for native fish and other aquatic life, preventing them from moving to breeding grounds or in search of food. The Kletzsch Dam Fish Passage will create a pathway for these species to move upstream, allowing for a more naturally functioning ecosystem. This project is one part of the ongoing efforts to delist the Milwaukee Estuary as an EPA Area of Concern.
