The Sand County Foundation has been working with farmers in the Milwaukee River watershed for several years to better understand how in-the-field practices affect nutrient loading to waterways. In this project, the Foundation will work with the Village of Grafton to support its use of either Adaptive Management or Water Quality Trading to meet the Village’s phosphorus requirement for its wastewater treatment facility permit.
