Increasing Biodiversity at MNP through Wetland Restoration, Invasive Species Control and Education

This grant would support the Mequon Nature Preserve’s (MNP) ongoing efforts to restore a 438-acre property in a quickly developing area just north of the City of Milwaukee. MNP will restore 35 acres on the north side of the property that are currently in traditional agricultural practices. MNP will also treat invasive species throughout the property and provide educational opportunities for local schools.
