The Innovations and Wellness Commons is a community-driven commercial development in Milwaukee’s historic Lindsay Heights neighborhood working to  revitalize the North Avenue corridor, create sustainable jobs, and increase access to a variety of integrated services. With the Fund for Lake Michigan’s support of Phase 2, Walnut Way will install green infrastructure to capture and treat stormwater onsite, while also building the green job skills of local Blue Skies Landscaping crew members and educating community members about rain barrels and gardens.
