The Future Water Leaders Student Pilot Program will prepare Wisconsin post-secondary students for future internship or traineeship opportunities in the water business community while enabling a number of on-the-ground demonstration projects addressing various water quality issues. The Water Council and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee– School of Freshwater Sciences will administer grants of up to $5,000 to students from private and public universities to help foster the next generation of water leaders in Wisconsin.
