The Museum serves 50,000 visitors across Lake Michigan shoreline communities annually. The Lake Michigan Water Table exhibit will allow children ages 0-8 and their families to develop fundamental understanding of watershed dynamics, explore the connections between human activities and water quality, build emotional connections to waterways that inspire life-long conservation behavior and gain early exposure to water-focused STEAM careers.
The Lake Michigan Water Table will feature accurate representations of the Lake Michigan, Sheboygan River and Pigeon River watersheds, educational signage and interpretive materials in English and Spanish, along with professionally illustrated ecological art installations depicting local species and habitats.
