The City of Algoma’s new Barber Surf Rake will efficiently remove waste and debris, including plastic particles, from Crescent Beach. The rake is expected to improve habitat and water quality, and studies show that it can also reduce the occurrence of E. Coli in sand, before the bacteria enters the water.
