This project build’s on HDI’s extraordinary successes over the last two years, including promoting the City of Milwaukee’s adoption of the first-of-its-kind Water and Land Use Plan, creating of “Harbor View Plaza,” a new $1.5 million park along the harbor, and raising over $1.3 million for storm water improvements and public access in and around the Grand Trunk Wetland site. In Phase II, HDI will leverage FFLM funds and lead and coordinate further efforts to improve water quality, habitat, and access to the waterfront in and around the Inner Harbor.
