The River Alliance of Wisconsin and the Lower Fox Demonstration Farms Network will work with farmers in the Lower Fox River Watershed to achieve certification through the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS).  These will be among the first farms in the country to be AWS certified. AWS requires sites to go beyond their current practices and show continuous improvement related to their water use as well as their impact on their larger watershed.
