In 1996 the Village of Cleveland removed an over 100-year old dam at the Cleveland Mill Pond and began stabilizing the area and restoring habitat. However, recent high water levels and extreme rain events have pushed more sediment into Centerville Creek and demonstrated that further stabilization must be done to protect those earlier efforts. This project will establish native trees and shrubs along the streambank to prevent further erosion. The outcome will be increased habitat and improved water quality.
